A Sambalpuri dupatta is a traditional handwoven ikat dupatta wherein the warp and the weft are tie-dyed before weaving.
Sambalpuri dupattas are known for their incorporation of traditional motifs like shankha (shell), chakra (wheel), phula (flower)
but the highpoint  of these dupatta is the traditional craftsmanship of the ‘Bandhakala’. Beige and black colour sambalpuri handwoven cotton dupatta designed with floral motifs on the body, plain border and fish motifs on bottom part of dupatta.
